01 Complex fluid path design

In complex fluid systems, standard connectors cannot meet the design requirements of complex paths, so adapter blocks can be used to accurately match the required fluid paths.

02 Space-constrained equipment installation

Space layout optimization

In the design and layout of complex equipment, there are limited functions and limited space. This will lead to complex processes and difficult or impossible installation. The flexibility of the adapter block can well solve the problem of complex equipment, limited functions and limited space.

Reduce dead volume

Through the precise design of the adapter block, the flow path of the fluid in the system can be optimized, the dead volume at the connection of the equipment can be reduced, and more products can be effectively recycled and waste can be reduced.

03 Systems with high cleanliness requirements

In areas where the liquid cannot flow or flows very hard in the pipeline, the blind hole is too long, and the liquid is easy to stagnate, causing microorganisms to grow here and form biofilms, which may cause pollution

The adapter block limits the length of the blind hole to within three times the diameter of the pipeline to ensure that these areas can be fully flowed into and cleaned during CIP, thereby avoiding the growth of microorganisms. The shorter the blind hole, the more effectively it can eliminate dead corners and reduce the accumulation of pollutants, thereby reducing the risk of product contamination

Therefore, in the pipeline design of biopharmaceutical equipment. "Less than 3D (the blind hole end is less than 3 times the pipeline diameter)" is an important design principle, mainly used to ensure the cleanability and sterility of the system.

04 Non-standard interfaces or sensor connections

When some devices in the process system use non-standard interfaces, standard connectors may not be able to directly connect these devices. In this case, specific adapter blocks can be designed and manufactured to adapt to these non-standard interfaces, thereby ensuring the compatibility of the entire system.
